Having seen the preview run at the Barn during the Salisbury Festival, i was excited to see that Bootleg had decided to stage this new production of the tale of two girls, April and June.

Emily and Clare brought the sparkling script by Trevor Suthers to life. The witty banter was at it its peak during the duologue parts of the production. During the monologues the young actors showed fantastic depth and understanding of their characters, resulting in highly emotive performances. Obviously the director, Colin Burden, giving enough free reign to ensure naturalistic scenes without any thing being stilted. Oh and so so so funny. At one point my friends and I had tears in our eyes from both joy and sadness. Superb production, well worth seeing.
